Juraj
Kojs is a composer and performer from Slovakia. In May 2008, Juraj
received his PhD. in Composition and Computer Technologies from
the University of Virginia's
McIntire Department of Music. Beginning in September 2008, Juraj
joined the faculty of the Department
of Music at Yale University as the Postdoctoral Associate in
Music Technology and Multimedia Art.
Juraj's
research and music areas of interest include cyberinstruments
by physical modeling synthesis, everyday objects, Slovak folk
music instruments, sounds on the threshold of hearing, and interactive
electroacoustic composition.
